A Photo Tour to the Osaka YWCA School

As you've probably figured out by now I spent my year in Japan studying Japanese at the Osaka YWCA Language School. The school is nice and new, but the tall central section is actually a hotel.
We took a trip once each semester to somewhere near Osaka. Examples of places we went include the Mino Waterfall (at left) and Osaka Castle.
Also once each term we'd take an overnight trip somewhere farther away. These places include Lake Biwa, Okayama Prefecture, and Awaji Island (at right).
When we weren't in school there were always plenty of things that could be done. One of the most popular forms of group entertainment in Japan is of course Karaoke.
Sometimes we even got the teachers to have fun!
And when the academic year finished there was a big graduation ceremony and party.

There are many more YWCA pictures in my Photo Album of Japan. If you're interested in finding out more about the YWCA then check my page of YWCA related links.
